This week we prepare for time with our family or close friends. Thanksgiving has become a time where many of us reflect on who and what is most important to us. It is a day to reach out and thank those who have been there for you throughout the year and let them know your appreciation. For without those who have been there for you, where would you be?
I grew up in a large family that was disassociated and where dissension was allowed. When I had my own children I consciously decided never to do this and to raise my children to understand that not only are they siblings, that they would want to be friends. I gave them the vision of what it would be like to be older and to have each other as someone they could count on to be there for them. I am happy to say that this is what has happened with my children, they are to this day truly good friends and would help each other in any way possible. And, they all work together in the family business!
Find a way to reach out to someone this Thanksgiving and thank them for being there for you, helping you. Even a text or an email works, I am certain. I’ve been doing this for several years now and Thanksgiving has become one of my favorite days of the year.
The Wellness Resources family continues to be here for you to help you solve areas of concern with your health. I personally extend my help to you to let you know that I will do whatever I can to encourage you, guide you, direct you in making good choices for yourself and your family in your wellness program.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and may you enjoy a day creating a beautiful memory with family and friends.
With Much Gratitude,
Mary Elle
