As this year is coming to an end, I find it helpful to reflect on what I have learned and the distance I have traveled on my personal path. It is with excitement of the anticipation of the potential I see for the new year coming upon us.
There is something about brand new that I love! With this, it gives me an opportunity to do something completely different. It gives me the chance to view life in a fresh way. The awareness that it is never too late to bring about positive change in my life keeps me motivated to continue with my fiery will.
So, what is it that I learned this past year? That despite what goes on around me, outside of my control, I still can find inner peace and happiness within myself.
I have done this primarily with staying grounded, in touch with nature, remaining creative, and valuing those who are most important to me in my life.
It has helped me to not be “glued” to bad news coming in from the media or others. I realize that other opinions are simply just that, opinion. Being one that is not easily swayed by what others say, I have the comfort of knowing my values and the personal integrity I chose to live by. For me, this is of great importance and keeps me being me.
So, what is ahead? Brand new! I know for sure that I will be involved in a creative project that is outside the box! Now is the time more than ever that we want new, better, improved, something different. We do not want the events of 2020 to become our new “normal”. Never! We want more.
By getting in touch with your creativity inside yourself and your unique gifts, you too can create something new and even helpful.
When we are each at peace within ourselves there is a chance of real peace on Earth. It is about power to the people in a positive way.
