As women, it's so important that we keep up our bone strength throughout life. Falling and breaking a bone can be a turning point for health. Regardless of what you may hear, it IS possible to build back bones after menopause. Our bodies are constantly breaking down old bone and building new bone. So, making sure we have enough bone building nutrition is crucial!
My favorite bone building combo is Daily Bone Xcel and Bone & Joint Helper. Daily Bone Xcel gives you the most absorbable forms of calcium along with nutrients that help calcium absorb into bones. Avoid cheap calcium such as calcium carbonate, as it is not effective.
Bone & Joint Helper helps keep up bone density and pairs perfectly with Daily Bone Xcel for some extra support. Bone & Joint Helper includes vitamin K2, D3, FruiteX-B and more. I take 3 Bone & Joint Helper per day.
What and when you eat impact your bones too. Too much sugar, high omega -6 oils, and fried fats don't help. Eating plenty of vegetables and omega-3 fish oil (with DHA) is great for your bones.
It's also important to keep using your bones. I do some strength exercises with weights to help tell my bones to build themselves up. I do planks almost every day to help strengthen my core and bones too!
With the right nutrition and lifestyle habits, it is possible to keep bones strong throughout your life!
