How I Stay in Shape!

Hello! When people ask me what diet plan I am on, I tell them: I follow The Leptin Diet! It’s really more of a lifestyle than a diet. It’s a sustainable way of eating that helps you have healthy metabolism and energy. You’re not always focusing on what you can eat next. Once you follow these 5 Rules for even a week, it becomes second nature! Forget the yo-yo dieting and do something that works this year!

  1. Never eat after dinner. Finish eating dinner at least three hours before bed.

  2. Eat three meals a day. Allow 5-6 hours between meals. Do not snack!

  3. Do not eat large meals. Finish a meal when you are slightly less than full.

  4. Eat a high protein breakfast. Aim for 20-30 grams of protein at breakfast.

  5. Reduce the amount of carbohydrates eaten. Limit, don't cut out carbs.

Most days of the week, I start my morning with a Daily Protein smoothie. Getting a high protein breakfast is such an important part of this way of eating. Protein at breakfast helps you feel full until lunchtime, curbs cravings, and actually improves metabolism throughout the day. It’s a quick way to get my day started on the right foot!

My go-to smoothie recipe includes: 1 scoop Wellness Resources grass-fed Daily Protein, 1 scoop Collagen Peptides, 1 tablespoon Fiber Helper, 1 c. organic blueberries, 1 c. unsweetened almond milk.

I also take the Wellness Resources Leptin Control Pack, our weight management supplements in convenient grab-and-go packets. This is such a great combination of supplements to support healthy thyroid and metabolism, blood sugar metabolism, and fat metabolism. It contains all-natural superior quality supplements, no hormones or stimulants.* I love it!

Of course, I make sure to eat healthy, organic foods and exercise regularly. I love going for daily walks and I go to the gym to do strength exercises 3 times a week. Following the Leptin Diet helps me have the energy to do the activities I love.

I encourage you to get started on the Leptin Diet today and see the results! Wishing you a healthy and vibrant 2019!
